1) REPORTS TO: Vice President/General Manager

2) JOB DESCRIPTION:
a) Assist the General Manager/Vice President in overseeing daily operations of the retail and food & beverage program.
b) Assists General Manager in day-to-day operation of retail operations.
c) Ensure that all operational areas are maintained at a very high level.
d) Assist in developing operating goals and objectives.
e) Assist with the implementation of programs to accomplish departmental goals and objectives.
f) Manage operating expenses to achieve budgeted goals.
g) Establish and maintain effective relationships with management team, merchants, the Department of Aviation and airport stakeholders
h) Facilitate the successful implementation of the Risk Management program.

3) RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Manage the operations program to ensure operational areas are functioning at high levels.
b) Lead the operations staff to the accomplishment of their goals.
c) Monitor Permitted Use for retail and food operations.
d) Manage the Street Pricing Program.
e) Serve as operational liaison with the Department of Aviation.
f) Serve as liaison with Police, Fire, TSA, airlines, and other airport entities.
g) Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and manage expense control.
h) Oversight of Operations and Housekeeping Department Functions.
i) Oversight of all CAM operations and expenses.
j) Work with department heads to assist in accomplishing established goals and objectives.
k) Work with the leasing team to facilitate the opening of all merchants.
l) Manage all general liability and worker’s compensation claims.
m) Assist in negotiating all contract service agreements.

4) SPECIAL SKILLS:
a) Strong personnel management skills.
b) Excellent organization and time management skills.
c) Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
d) Accounting and budgeting skills.
e) Knowledge of construction and facility maintenance programs.

5) EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
a) Bachelor’s degree.
b) Five years experience in retail property management, or equivalent experience.
c) Five years operational food and beverage experience.

Starting Salary: $115,000
